Cinnamon rolls
Do I have your attention now? Good.
Cinnamon rolls are nice and everything, but I want the focus of this post to really be about getting out of your comfort zone and trying something new. When it really comes down to it, baking scares me. Baking is a precise science where more often than not, if you mess something up it throws off the whole process. There’s something in baking that really brings out the anxiety in me, and that coupled with lack of time management skills and general inability to be patient really works against me. Luckily, I had enough good karma stored up for this batch of cinnamon rolls. Although they certainly weren’t pretty enough to bring home a ribbon, they still tasted delicious. And I suppose that at the end of the day, that’s what it is really all about. I had fun making these with my beautiful partner and then sharing the finished product with those that I care about.
I thought for this post I would share my experience through some photos. I hope that you will share this journey with me.
If you would like to make this exact recipe you can find it here at https://www.yummly.com/recipe/Homemade-Cinnamon-Rolls-2195125?prm-v1#directions.
So without further ado, let’s get started on this journey shall we?
Here are all the little guys ready to go in the oven. Don’t they look cute?
Here’s an after picture. Some look… interesting. But hey, it’s all in the taste right?
Oh heck yeah. Let’s get another angle on those bad boys.
Throw some cream cheese frosting on those and I would say you have yourself a pretty decent meal right there.
Thank you for staying with me through all that, and I really hope you enjoyed your time here.
Until next time, I wish you a happy holiday. Stay safe out there!
